Ultra-Small Precision Medical Part

Ceramic injection molding reference component

Difficulty: medical device parts typically demand the combination of very small size and very high precision. A small volume means the injection-fill pressure path is short, raising short-shot risk; the extremely light green body also means minor impacts during handling can cause damage.

Solution: optimized gate location and size ensure full fill, paired with dedicated carriers to protect the green body in transit, and special support handling at debinding and sintering. Post-sinter density is very high; after polishing to a high-gloss finish, the surface shows a near-hydrophobic effect.

Customer value: miniature, complex ceramic medical parts can be formed in one shot, reducing secondary processing steps, and meeting the combined dimensional-stability and batch-consistency requirements of medical parts.
